Good report on Schoep today. Eating and drinking well, still wants to go for walks even though it is getting colder outside. John says he is sleeping more, but that is expected as winter is approaching. Schoep's arthritis is under control, and he seems to be a very happy dog.

Schoep had bloodwork done last week. All the test showed that he is doing very well. A combination of Therapy Laser Treatments, Glycoflexx III supplements, and tramadol has made him comfortable without causing stress to his internal organs. We plan on continuing weekly therapy laser treatments, daily Glycoflex III supplements and tramadol as needed.
Schoep completed another laser treatment today. John reports continued gradual improvement!

Therapy Laser Treatment today. Schoep is feeling good, eating well, and wagging his tail when he meets people. John says he likes to sleep in on the dark and gloomy days, but is wde awake for his appointment this afternoon. Check out the Schoep's Legacy Foundation on johnandschoep.com

I finally have a few minutes to give you the update everyone is asking for!!! John says Schoep is doing very well, he sleeps thru the night, is excited about going for walks everyday, and has even gained a pound. Medically, he has better range of motion in all joints, good muscle tone in all legs, and walks with less of a limp.
Since Lake Superior has become too cold to go swimming, we are having hydrotherapy done at home, this will help keep up the muscle tone and joint flexibility. Schoep has long nails, but they have been kept as short as possible, we will continue to work on them in the future. Schoep may seem to need a grooming in the photos, but he is very clean and well kept.
Another TV interview was done last week, I'll post the link as soon it airs.

We had another great Therapy Laser session with John and Schoep today. Schoep feels very good. His range of motion is increased, and does not seem painful when he walks. John tells me that Schoep walks faster, wags his tail more and has his ears upright most of the time. We are planning his next treatment for next week. The local tv station did a story on Schoep's treatment. You can find the segment at northlandsnewcenter.com.

"Schoep is much more active and alert since we started his treatments. His pain is greatly reduced, and he is moving around easier. We are planning on continuing his therapy laser treatments on a weekly basis, and his other medications/supplements as needed."

Therapy Laser treatment for Schoepe today. Johns says Schoepe is moving smoother, walking faster and wanting to go for more walks. He really seems to be enjoying the therapy treatments, he fell asleep while we were working on him today. Sorry, I couldn't get a new picture of Schoepe today. Next treatment is scheduled for Thursday.

This our latest photo of Schoepe, it was taken right after finishing his third Therapy Laser treatment. John says Schoepe is more relaxed and seem to be more comfortable since we have started the treatments. We want to thank everyone for all the outpouring of love, and all the donations recieved for Schoepe.
